OceanPass Appoints S&P Global's Jack Power as Board Member
OceanPass announces the appointment of Jack Power, Managing Director at S&P Global, as Board Member — strengthening leadership as emissions regulation reshapes maritime economics.

COPENHAGEN 13th April 2026 OceanPass, a platform turning emissions data into decision ready intelligence for shipping and the maritime finance, today announced the appointment of Jack Power as a Board Member. In this role, Power will advise on strategy, market expansion, and the development of OceanPass's data and intelligence offering.
Power brings a rare combination of scale and sector depth. As Managing Director and European Head of Global Insights Sales at S&P Global, and formerly Head of EMEA Sales across Maritime, Trade and Supply Chain at IHS Markit, he has spent years at the intersection of data, intelligence, and the maritime industry's most critical decisions. That experience is particularly relevant as OceanPass scales its platform across the maritime ecosystem.
Power's appointment comes as OceanPass scales its platform to help shipping companies navigate increasingly complex emissions regulations, while turning compliance requirements into actionable commercial insight.
The company plans to expand its platform capabilities and geographic reach as demand grows for data-driven solutions to emissions compliance and performance across the maritime sector.
Jack Power, OceanPass Board Member said, "The emissions transition is one of the most important shifts facing our industry right now. The companies that will lead it are those that turn compliance into commercial intelligence. OceanPass is building exactly that, and I'm excited to contribute to that journey."
OceanPass is focused on helping everyone in maritime value chain manage their emissions exposure, regulatory requirements, and operational performance through a unified intelligence layer.
"We are building the intelligence layer that shipping needs to navigate the emissions transition," said Christian Bonfils, Chair and Founder of OceanPass. "Having Jack's perspective in the boardroom — someone who has seen how the world's leading data organisations serve this industry — makes us sharper and more ambitious. We are delighted to welcome him."
Power's appointment reflects OceanPass's focus on combining deep industry expertise with data-driven infrastructure as the maritime sector undergoes structural change.
